The quality might have been better if a clip-stereo mike such as a Panasonic one I bougt in London (2004) for £30 and in New York (2005) for $50 had been used with for example, a minidisc.
My recording of Joe Higgins vs. Garret Fitzgerald at the same event in 2005 captured questions from the audience as well as the main speakers.
I’ve loads more archives including speaker’s square (Dublin), but don’t know where to put them /for free/.
