don’t call us we’ll call you – its a kind of magic

rte news reports that smart customers can not make outgoing calls but
can take incoming calls.

I dispute this. I can call out over smart076 VOIP but not call in, the
opposite of what RTE stated. I also can not call in to my office as
the line is on call forwarding and no connection is being made. So
once again unlike the RTE claim, I can not dial in to a smart line. My
gripe is not with RTE but smart/eircom/comreg and the FFuckers in FF
that privatised Telecom Eireann. FF, don’t call us we’ll call you.
memories of the NTL fire hazard sell out.. never again comreg.

  1. David Cochrane Says:

You were the one who moved from Eircom to Smart – so it’s hardly FF’s fault that a small telco you took your custom to might go tits up. Bit of a reality check there. You left Eircom, who are cheaper than since before privatisation.

hardly FF fault that the deregulation left NTL phone users stranded and 40K of Smart users without service?, I think it is, the argument goes on to being for a better safety net for customers versus basic citizens rights. I want the later, btw ever serious pundit (i heard) speaking about the sale or aer lingus agreed that eircom now is worse than the eircom/TE/P&T before privatisation, worse for its users whether you see them as customers or citizens using a vital telco service in the information age.

quiz_0.1: who sat on the board of telecom that CJ asked to step aside?
