why do DJs out live the bands they play? so you’re 18 and looking is the FAS window for a job, ‘join a band’ 1/100 chance of making it and be forgotten in 3 years, OR become a ‘Disc Jockey’ play all bands records on da radio, have a 100/1 chance of faking it, and DJ beyond retiring age, as the older you get the wiser you get, the more experience you have and the young guns cant touch you! so Ronan, Larry & Dave happy working retirements, all those crap / great bands you played over the years were on the dole queue / real world job scenes years before you, you lucky buzzcocks… [thanks to billy travis for this meme]
