I'm the Inga from Boston. When I joined it was only about 9:00, Boston time, so I was probably more awake (and less inebriated than the others). I am a regular listener to WXTC radio, and I always enjoy the opportunity to share musical tastes as Brian taps into his huge collection of music. Adding more listeners to the mix made listening a whole new experience. Not only was I able to request tunes I wanted to hear, I was able to hear what others requested as well. But what really made the experience new was the ability to instant message with all involved. It made what is usually a linear experience, a three dimensional EVENT. The electronic living room let people chat with all, with one or two others, or not at all, if one choose to just listen. It was a truly unique listening experience, one that will make it hard to go back to listening to broadcast music in any other way. How can one go back to being a passive, lonely listener, when one can be an active listener, with friends from around the world sharing the warmth of the electronic fireplace.
