RSSCloud &. PubSubHubbub don’t call us we’ll call you
this is the basic fundamental change for the way of the web. protocols
that say “don’t call us, we’ll call you” or more accurately “don’t
poll us we’ll push to you”. The web is a buzz with the talk of these
new protocols. My own experiments are continuing. But take it that
these protocols are required to speed up the real time web. I really
like the the openness of both and the way they will be deployed ie.
distributed, unlike one big fail whale company getting clogged with
all our micro data pointing at our richer data. watch this space [fill
up]
