Wednesday, September 5th, 2007Bought the big issues magazine off a guy at Birmingham city railway station. He caught my accent and told me he was born in Belfast Co. Armagh, I said Belfast County Antrim, he said no I said yes… (yes I even have the time & ego to argue with a Big Issues vendor) Anyway I give him £2 and he gives me the magazine. I’m on the plane reading the magazine when I discover its called Whats On (in Birmingham) and is free with the Mail and/or costs 80p when sold. Maybe the Big Issues is gone. or I was done. Anyway the folks/rock/roots previews had a review for Devon Sproule who played Coventry Aug 30th. nice! she plays Whelans Dublin on Sept 18th 7.30pm
